Melanie Michalak
Musical Freestyle Dressage

Melanie is a USDF L graduate. She is an active  musical freestyle designer, competitor, judge and clinician. She has  presented musical freestyle clinics throughout the United States. Melanie's  freestyles have earned National and International awards at every level  through Grand Prix. Her work can be seen throughout the U.S., Europe and  Caribbean, Her freestyles have been performed at the Pan Am Games and USEF  Dressage Olympic Trials. She has earned state and National Freestyle Horse of the Year Awards on her own horses at many levels.  Watch for Melanie Michalak at Illinois Horse Fair with an informative Seminar!

Mane in Heaven - Mini Therapy Horses

Mane in Heaven brings miniature therapy horses visit nursing homes, schools, hospitals, libraries, veteran facilities, domestic violence shelters, homes for at-risk youth, etc. 

Miniature therapy horses make phenomenal comfort animals and are very kind and gentle.  Watch for Mane in Heaven at Illinois Horse Fair with an informative      Seminar and hands on demonstration!

As Medical Director and Staff Veterinarian for SmartPak, Dr. Gray directs the research and development ("R & D") of products, supports ColiCare (SmartPak's colic surgery reimbursement program), and provides the most up-to-date, science-based horse health and nutrition information to a wide variety of audiences. In addition to the popular Ask the Vet blog and the new Ask the Vet video series, her written work has appeared in more than a dozen publications plus she speaks frequently around the country. Dr. Gray is the proud owner of a Trakehner gelding named Newman that she competes with in dressage and combined driving, and she has graduated with distinction from the USDF "L" judges program.

She's a certified Aculife trainer, certified and licensed massage therapist, Reiki  practitioner, equine sports massage therapist and equine acupressure., Certified in by light and T touch.
